Update Activity page

To update the new activity page, you can follow the next steps for implementation. Please let Dayenne know once you are ready. She will publish the page for you.

Steps

  1. Go to the master WordPress Dashboard (make sure you are logged in).
  2. Click right on activities.
  3. Check the box left to the activity page you want to implement (Fleet, Retail, Systems, Technics and/or Wash). Scroll up and click on the drop down menu Bulk actions. Select your country code and click apply.
  4. Go to your local WordPress Dashboard.
  5. Go to your local activities overview in your local CMS (in the right side panel of WordPress).
  6. Search for the activity TSG Fleet – DraftTSG Retail – Draft, TSG Systems – Draft TSG Technics – Draft, TSG Wash – Draft,  TSG Charge – Draft and/or TSG Gas – Draft and click on edit.
  7. You will now enter the backend of the new activity page. Note: always save this page as a draft. Group Marketing will publish the page as soon as you let us know that you have finished the activity page.
  8. From top to bottom, we will firstly explain the Activity info section.
    • In the tab General:
      • If necessary, translate the Activity short title
      • The Activity icon has been set-up correctly for everyone already.
      • Select the matching activity name: this has also been set-up correctly for you.
      • Background image: this image has been set-up correctly for you already. Please don’t change it.
      • Activity sub title in banner: translate the text in the first box on the left. The 2nd box on the left may be left empty.
      • Introduction in banner: translate text.
      • Button in banner: the URL has been set-up correctly for you. Link text: translate the text. Click on update.
    • In the tab Partners:
      • Title above partners: insert localised text in case you want to highlight partners related to the activity.
      • For the Fleet activity page: on the right side of Profleet and Tokheim, press the minus (-) button to delete one or both partners in case these are not relevant to your country.
      • Click on Add a partner if you would like to add a partner.
        • Click on Add image to select the logo of the partner.
  9. Go to the next section Activity content:
    • Title above activity content: translate text.
    • Lead Content: translate text.
    • Content field between banner and other fields: translate text.
    • Anchor link: is set-up correctly for you already.
    • Overwrite scroll menu title: translate text.
  10. Customer entry points. Go to the next section Page link cards with image:
    • Title: translate text.
    • Page links: in case you have created the corresponding entry point pages and those are published, it’s here where you can select those pages and install the buttons.
    • Translate the column Override page title.
    • Override featured image of page: If you think it is necessary to display a different image or customer entry point here, please contact Peter Muller to discuss the possibilities.
    • On the right side of the images press the minus (-) button to delete one or more entry points in case these are not relevant to your country.
    • Anchor link: leave blanc.
    • Overwrite scroll menu title: leave blanc.
  11. Go to the next section Service provider:
    • Title: translate text.
    • Introduction: leave blanc.
    • USP’s:
      • Don’t change the icons. They are set-up correctly already for you.
      • Title: translate text.
      • Description: translate text.
    • Image: If you think it is necessary to display a different image here, please contact Peter Muller to discuss the possibilities.
    • Button:
      • URL: link to your local ‘installation’ page.
      • Link text: translate text.
    • Anchor link: is set-up correctly for you already.
    • Overwrite scroll menu title: translate text.
  12. Go to the next section Cases slider:
    • This works the same as the new homepage.
    • Title: translate text.
    • Select cases for the cases slider: click in the left column on cases you would like to show on your fleet activity page. Once you click on one of the options in the left column, it will be automatically placed into the right column. All cases shown in the right column are shown on your page. Everything in the left column will not be showed on your activity page.
    • Show the category filter above the slider: set to ‘no‘.
    • Anchor link: is set-up already for you.
    • Overwrite scroll menu title: translate text.
  13. Go to the next section Activity – Product listing:
    • Button below product list: do not use this button.
    • Anchor link: this is set-up correctly for you.
    • Overwrite scroll menu title: translate text.
    • If you scroll down, a new section will start called Activity Products. This may seem confusing, however, this is part of the Activity – Product listing.
    • Title above products listing: translate text.
    • Introduction above products listing: translate text.
    • Related products: this works the same as the case slider. click in the left column on products you would like to show on your fleet activity page. Once you click on one of the options in the left column, it will be automatically placed into the right column. All products shown in the right column are shown on your page. Everything in the left column will not be implemented.
  14. And go on to the final section of this page called Call to action custom contact details.
