Implement new footer call to action

With Iceberg a new call to action in the footer is designed to give visitors the ability to submit a form on every page visit.To implement the new footer call to action, you can first change the global settings. It is also possible to change every section of the call to action on page level, for instance to match the title of the call to action with the subject of the page. Please follow the next steps for changing the default call to action:

1. Go to the Website Options > Call to action in the sidebar menu. Here you will see the current settings for the call to action on each page.
2. Head over to the section Get a quote form to setup the form and fill in the fields in the group.
3. Select a compact contact form that will be shown in the footer. If you do not have a compact contact form yet, you can copy it from the master website.
4. Select a default image to show above the form. The suggested image name is ‘TSG_Charge_mechanic_installing_EV_charger’. You can find this by clicking the Add image button and entering the image title in the search bar of the image selector.
5. On top of the image, a title and short description are shown. You can enter the title and short line of text in the two fields. The suggested title is Call me back, the suggested sentence is Contact our experts to receive tailored advice.
6. Save the settings to change the default call to action.

Adjust the call to action in a single page

On each page that shows the call to action, you can overwrite the default options of the call to action. For instance, adjust the title to fit the context of the page. To do this, head over to the editing screen of the page and find the box Call to action custom contact details. When you set the switch Override the global Call to action settings to Yes, you will see all fields that are in the default settings as well. Whenever you enter content in the overwrite fields, this information is shown. Alle empty fields are skipped and will show the default content.
