Implement (new) entry point page
To update the new entry point pages, you can follow the next steps for implementation. Please let Dayenne know once you are ready. She will check and publish the page for you.
The customer entry points represent key focus segments in your local market. A key focus segment typically represents a type of location. The type of location could potentially indicate the need for different types of products and solutions we have.
Steps
- Go to the master WordPress Dashboard (make sure you are logged in).
- Check the box left to the entry point page(s) in the activity section you want to implement. Scroll up and click on the drop down menu
Bulk actions. Select your country code and click apply. - Go to your local WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to
All activitiesin your local CMS (in the right side panel of WordPress). - Search for the entry point page(s) you have copied to your own CMS and click on
edit. - You will now enter the backend of the entry point page. Note: always save this page
as a draft. Group Marketing will publish the page as soon as you let us know that you have finished the activity page. - From top to bottom, we will firstly explain the
Activity info section:- In the tab
General:- If necessary, translate the
Activity short title - The
Activity iconhas been set-up correctly for everyone already. Select the matching activity name: this has also been set-up correctly for you already.Background image: this image has been set-up correctly for you already. Please don’t change it.Activity sub title in banner: translate the text in the first box on the left. The 2nd box on the left should be empty.Introduction in banner: translate text if you want to copy it from the master website. If you have a localized customer entry point, please feel free to use the right naming here.Button in banner: the URL should redirect to you local contact page. Link text: translate the text. Click on update.

Partners:Title above partners: insert localised text in case you want to highlight partners related to the activity.- Click on Add a partner if you would like to add a partner.
- Click on Add image to select the logo of the partner.

Activity content:Title above activity content: localise text.Lead Content: localise text.Content field between banner and other fields: leave empty.
Activity products:- Leave this entire section empty.
Text with an image:Title: localise it.Content: localise it. We have made cross-selling possible by putting a link behind product (categories). In case you want to this this as well, make sure these links redirect to your own website.Image: the image has been set-up for you already. In case you want to localise the image, please feel free to do so.Alignment: right.- Anchor link: leave empty if you don’t want to use the secundary coloured menu. If you want to use it, fill in the anchor link and overwrite scroll menu title. This section is open to localisation.
Call to action to other page:- In this section, you have the opportunity to highlight a relevant news or blog article, release or a specific product page/category.
Title above the call to action buttons: localise it.Introduction above the call to action buttons: localise it.Title next to CTA button: localise it.Primary button link: link to your desired page. Link text: translate text.
Call to action custom contact detailsOverride the Global call to action settings: yes- Localise all content fields.
Select one of your contact formswith the option to leave a message in the form as well. Most often, this is the contact form ‘contact’. Please don’t use the form ‘copy compact form’ as it doesn’t have a ‘leave a message’ field.- Extra information on implementing the contact form, can be found here.
- If you have successfully completed all the steps mentioned above, let dayenne.koreman@tsgnortheurope.com know. Dayenne will check if your activity page is ready and will publish it for you.
- Once Dayenne has checked and published your entry point page(s), you have to complete actions from this part of the manual written in Italic letters (see bullet point 10).
