Copy new compact contact form

In the new Iceberg layout each page has a compact contact form at the bottom of the page. You can create the form yourself, but the quick and easy way is to copy it from the master website and update a few settings after copying it. To copy and update the form follow these steps:

  1. Head over to the Forms overview in the Master website.
  2. Check the checkbox before the form named Contact form Compact
  3. From the Bulk Actions dropdown above or below the list of forms, select Copy selected forms to ‘COUNTRY’ and press the Apply button. The form is copied to the selected SSD. When the copying is done a message is shown.
  4. Head over to your own SSD and go to Forms from the sidebar menu.

After the copy process is done you will have to change a few settings in the form. Please check the following settings:

  • Open the form and translate the field labels of each field, when you want to to be in your own language. You can do this by clicking on the form field and update the Field Label in the settings on the right side of the screen.
  • If there is a light grey placeholder visible in the field, you can expand the Appearance section and translate the text in the Placeholder field as well.

The form sends a notification to the admin of the website and to the client who filled in the form. To make sure you receive the emails the Notification settings has to be changed.

  1. Go to the Form Settings by selecting Settings above the form editor and navigate to Notifications.
  2. Open the Admin notification notification and change the Send To Email to your own email address. It is best practice to use a noreply (i.e. noreply@tsg-solutions.com) email in the From email field and set the entered email address in the Reply To field. If this is not yet done, you can click the icon on the right side of the Reply To field and select the Email address field from the list of from fields.
  3. Save the notifications settings.

Now you are good to go to use the new form, for instance in the footer call to action.
