Global content settings (website options) – Contact | Location | Footer | Call to Action | Translations | Cookie consent

Some of the setting in the website are site-wide and not specific for a post or a post type. These setting can by found in the Admin menu, under Website options.

The Website options contain the following subjects:

  • Contact
  • Footer
  • Call to action
  • Cookie consent

Contact

In the Contact section you can set all the contact details that are used throughout the website. You can find an explanation of the fields in the settings tab itself.

  • Fill in the link to the Contact page under Select contact page. Selecting a page can be down by clicking the Select link button. A popup opens where you can enter a url and a title or select a post of any post type in the search box. When you have selected a page, click the Add Link button.
  • Fill in the phone number in the different formats.
  • Fill in the fields for the service information. These fields are shown on the contact page itself.

Locations

On the contact page a map is shown with the different locations of TSG in your country. The locations can be filled in on the Contact website options tab.

  • Add a new location by clicking the Add location button in the Locations section.
  • For each location enter a location on the map, an image of the location, the name, phone number, email address and address of the location.

Footer

In the Footer website options you can set some information for the footer of the website.

Newsletter subscription

If you want to show a Newsletter subscription form in the footer, select the page with the subscribe form and add the Title, introduction and field information.

Social Media accounts

On the Footer website options page you can add the social media accounts from your country. The social media account are added in the bottom of the footer.

Call to action

On a product, activity and service page a Call to action is shown in the footer of the page. This is the ’Have any questions’ section of these pages. In the Call to action website options page, you can specify the global call to action information. This information is shown on every page, except the pages where you have specified a custom Call to action. Read more about in the articles about adding and editing an activity, product or service.

Translations

You may want to translate text on your website and be able to translate it once for the entire website. For example, buttons that are use often, such as ‘read more’. If you go to the ‘translations’ section, you have the possibility to translate the following options:

  • Common translations like ‘read more’ and ‘subscribe’. Translate it once, and it will be adjusted everywhere on your website.
  • Translations for contact page like ’email us’ and ‘where to find us’.
  • Translations for content block like ‘all news’ and ‘all projects. Translate it once, and it will be adjusted everywhere on your website.
  • Translations for social share block. Translate it once, and it will be adjusted everywhere on your website.

Cookie consent

You can translate the text that is shown in the cookie notification popup. This can be done in the Cookie consent website options page. The following fields should be filled in:

  • The Message field contains the message shown in the popup.
  • The Link text field contains the text for the link to the privacy policy page.
  • The Dismiss button text field is the field where you can set the dismiss text. This text is only shown when the cookie consent only has one button. In most cases the cookie consent has multiple fields and shows the Deny text and Allow text fields.
  • The Deny text fields is the field where you can set the link text that refuses the placement of cookies.
  • The Allow text field is the field where you can set the link text that allows the placement of cookies.
  • Select Privacy policy page let’s you select the page that contains the Privacy policy.
  • The last field needs to be switch on when Google Analytics is loaded in the website when Google Tag Manager is used. The digital marketing manager usually handles this setting. Best thing is to leave this as is. When this field is switched on, the Allow text and Deny text are shown in the cookie notification, when this field is switched off the Dismiss text is shown.
