Use of anchors for secondary menu
In Activity pages you have the ability to display a secondary menu on the page by adding anchors links in each content block. To make sure the anchors work properly, make sure you follow these rules:
- Only use letters in lowercase (a-z) or a dash (-). It is best to only use one or two words with a dash in between, for instance projects, contact,
- Avoid using letters with accents, for instance ü
- Make sure you do not enter punctuation marks. They will be removed from the text.
When you’ve entered an anchor link with a number, punctuation mark or a letter with an accent and you see that the page is not working properly, please check the anchors and remove the character.
Manually changing the url of an activity
In the activity edit screen you can see a field called Permalink right below the Title field. The permalink is the url of the activity. After you have set the title of the activity, the Permalink is created automatically. If you want to change the permalink, you can do this by clicking the button Edit next to the permalink. You are able the make changes in the section of the permalink that is specific to this activity.
Only change the permalink of a post that is not published yet. When you change the permalink of a published activity, the original permalink stops working and will lead visitors to a 404 not found page.
