Adding and editing a product
Add a product
In the dashboard navigate to Products > Add New

- Fill in the name of the product as Title.
- In the
Product bannersection, enter the specific information for this product:- Fill in the name of the product as title and add a sub title.
- Select the image that should show in the banner and fill in the introduction text for the banner.
- Enter a url to Vimeo or Youtube to add a play button in the banner. The video will show in a popup when the play button is clicked.
- Switch to the tab
Partnersto select partner images that show in the banner as well.
- In the
Product informationsection, select theRelated Activitiesfor this product. If you choose a activity under the product, this information is also saved in the activity. So the product and activity are linked in two directions. - Specify a short description and an image in the
Product informationsection. The image is used in overviews. - Select a
documentin theSelect documentsection. When a document is selected aDownload brochurebutton is shown in the banner and in the call to action on the bottom of the page. - Use content blocks to fill the rest of the product content. See using content blocks for the explanation on how to use content blocks. The content blocks Product Variants and Related Product Slider are useful for the product page.
- Preview your post by clicking the
Preview buttonin thePublish sectionon the top right of the page.
Publish a product or saving it for later
After you have filled in the content, set a featured image and reviewed the product it’s time to publish it. You can do that by clicking on the publish button on the right. If you don’t want to publish it just yet you can save it by clicking on the Save Draft button on the right. If you want the product to be published in the feature, or set the date to the past see Publish options for post types.
Before publishing the product, please make sure there are no typos or other flaws in the text and the main and banner images are set.
Override the call to action contact details
When the call to action with the contact details i shown in the website (see Global website settings for more information), you can override these settings in a product. Find the section Call to action custom contact details and switch on the Override the global Call to action settings. Some more fields will show where you can enter the custom contact details. These details will only show on this page. If you want to change the website-wide call to action settings, navigate to Website options > Call to action.
Manually changing the url of a product
In the product edit screen you can see a field called Permalink right below the Title field. The permalink is the url of the product. After you have set the title of the product, the Permalink is created automatically. If you want to change the permalink, you can do this by clicking the button Edit next to the permalink. You are able the make changes in the section of the permalink that is specific to this product.
Only change the permalink of a post that is not published yet. When you change the permalink of a published product, the original permalink stops working and will lead visitors to a 404 not found page.
Edit a product
When you want to make changes to a published product, you can go to the product in the Posts overview or visit the product in the frontend and click on Edit post in the Topbar. When you’re finished making changes, make sure you click the Update button to save the changes. If you want to see the changes before updating the product you can also click the Preview changes button in the Publish section. A new window will open showing the product with your changes.
